The Lost Key is a perfect family vacation home! Close to the dock, yet with views of the Gulf of Mexico, the home offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Little Gasparilla. Your rental includes use of a tandem kayak and stand up paddle-boards. The private beach is just a short walk down a sandy pathway.
The home is uniquely designed to maximize the views, with the living area on the top floor and bedrooms on the first floor.
A separate guest apartment downstairs with its own half bath offers additional room for last-minute guests, teenagers who wish to sleep late or guests who like the idea of a cozy escape. (Please note this room has its own ground floor entrance and cannot be accessed from upstairs.)
The home has been completely renovated and features a new kitchen, and spacious screened porches upstairs and downstairs to maximize the breeze and offer more outdoor living area.
The master features a king bed and en suite bathroom plus access to a private screened porch. Guest room has direct access to another bath and the bunk room (featuring two doubles and a twin) shares that bathroom. Upstairs off the kitchen is another half-bath.
Please note this home does sleep 10, but the rates are based on 6 guests....an additional guest fee is charged for guests over 6, to cover additional cleaning and trash removal costs.
Holiday fees are applied to reservations for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
An additional trash fee of $25 per week will be added to rentals greater than 2 weeks.
Rents from $450/night,5 night minimum
Please be aware that we can not permit guests to check in or check out the same day another guest will be occupying the property. We require at least 24 hours of vacancy between each reservation.

Pet Policy - pet-friendly with $100 non-refundable fee per pet. The following breeds are NOT permitted: Akita, American Bull Dog, Beaucerons, Caucasian Mountain Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinchers, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Keeshounds, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios or Rottweilers.
Kayak/paddleboards- waiver signature required
Additional Guests - Rates are based upon 6 guests. An extra occupant fee of $100 per each guest over 6 guests will be applied to the reservation. Groups larger than 6 will be permitted only if the home is being rented by a single family and manager pre-approval is required. Please be aware that occupant restrictions will include all children.
Cleaning Fee - minimum $350 cleaning fee
Vacation Rental Damage Protection - $59 fee for “all risk” damage protection through Waivo.
Minimum Renter Age - 25
Boat Slip - included on dock number 82 (this is also where the water taxi will drop you off)
Complimentary Concierge- will meet you on the dock with a golf cart to assist with transporting your luggage and groceries to the home
Satellite TV - not available. Wifi is adequate for streaming via smart TV
Grill Type - gas
Coffee maker - drip (filters provided) and Keurig
Parking - $8/night ($10/night if you have a boat trailer) at Eldred's Marina where you meet the boat taxi
Long Term Rental Trash Charge- Trash pick up is $25/week for rentals over two weeks.
Holiday surcharges: applied for reservations for Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, and Christmas/New Years timeframes. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAYS MAY BE INCREASED FOR THESE DATES AS WELL.
