Bunkini is a cute and cozy guest house that sits at the edge of the dune, surrounded by swaying coconut palms for a tropical ambiance. The beach is literally just outside the front door. Sit in the captain’s chairs and enjoy a tropical drink and the setting sun.
Bunkini offers a full size kitchen and eat-in dining area, sitting room/bedroom combo, and full size bathroom offering accommodations for two. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. All dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans are provided for you (no dishwasher). The sitting room/bedroom combo contains a queen bed, love seat, and an additional chair for relaxing at night or reading a book during a summer rain shower. The main home (Nutmeg Cottage) is rented separately. The cottage itself is quite private. There is a spacious open-air outdoor shower and an outdoor dining table on the private deck and the beach is just beyond the dune. The laundry area has a separate entrance off the back deck area and is shared with Nutmeg cottage.
This charming spot is located centrally on the island. A brief walk from the dock and you arrive at this quaint cottage, and with a few steps more you have the waves lapping at your feet. There is a dock on the bay side of the island where the water taxi will drop you off and the concierge will meet you and help transport your luggage and groceries to Bunkini. Please note that there is not a dock slip available for a boat, but you do have access to the dock to fish and you can launch a kayak or paddle board.
Bunkini is perfect for a couple on a budget or snowbirds who might want to escape a harsh northern winter for the season. It is perfect for anyone who wants to be close to the beach without paying beachfront prices. Ask about attractive pricing for long term rentals of one month or more!

Please be aware that we can not permit guests to check in or check out the same day another guest will be occupying the property. We require at least 24 hours of vacancy between each reservation.

Pet Policy - pet-friendly with $100 non-refundable fee per pet. The following breeds are NOT permitted: Akita, American Bull Dog, Beaucerons, Caucasian Mountain Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinchers, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Keeshounds, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios or Rottweilers.

Me and my sister had a wonderful time at Bunkini! It was the perfect place! I would highly recommend it for couples or a small girls trip! Although it has only 1 bed, they will let you use an air mattress incase your other person snores! It is just steps away from the beach and has everything you will need!
